Strongly agree , provided that the proposed historical truth is true. The fact that an official document used in many French schools abroad, and particularly in Rwanda, can truncate the truth at this point is quite outrageous. Of course, the authors will talk about “mistake”, but still ! Twenty years after the genocide of the Tutsi, one must still fight to remember that it is the Tutsi community that has been aimed and killed in priority!
Some years ago, in a novel for young people which I forgot and the title and author, the author had a young Hutu refugee in France talking about the genocide of hers. A simple email to the author and the publisher was enough for the book to be pulped almost immediately. But in our case, it is not a novel but an official document used by teachers. Minister of National Education will be provided in the coming hours so that the truth is restored. It is in honor of the victims for whom we demand justice for nearly twenty years. Such against – truth is quite unbearable and we can not accept that she blamed on a simple “mistake”. An “educational expert “, Mr. Didier François , IPR Letters, endorsed the document which has also been reviewed by a person that can be considered as a specialist. One would expect a serious work. Thus we rewrote history and that nourishes the revisionist thesis or double genocide proponents of so many in our country. We expect a quick response so that the truth is restored.
